Presenting: Game Clans!

It has been said, the family that games together stays together! In full agreement of this, a month ago, I set out to try and make a simple gaming app that everyone in my family could use to play games with each other. Back when Words With Friends was still a big thing, (at least among the people I knew), it was quite a hit in my family. It makes for an excellent game model for busy people, because there's not much in the way of time requirements, and I wanted to further this idea!

Academic Exercises Announcement

For as long as I can remember, I've been obsessed with doing things from scratch. It's a source of satisfaction and pride to succeed in building something completely from the ground up, and with it comes a great deal of in-depth knowledge and understanding about what it is you're actually building. Protect The Packages 1.0 Official Release

Technology Appreciation

One small but very important part of my little mission statement for this company is that I hope to help people "appreciate and understand technology a little more." I'm going to start working on this today with a blog post explaining WHY I feel it's important that people appreciate technology.

Most of us use computers and digital technology in some form or fashion every single day. What with all of our phones, personal computers, work computers, smart TV's, etc., the technology has become integrated into our lives, and we use it so much that we've become desensitized to just what it is ...

Physics Engine in Open Beta

All of the basics in my SquareShield Physics Engine are complete, and I'm now moving it into open beta. Anyone is now free to download and use it to make JavaScript games! (You can find it here: SquareShield Physics Engine) In addition to the engine itself, the download also includes the documentation files for the API. (Generated with my Document It software!)

If you'd like to see what the engine can do and play around with it a little, I put a sandbox for it online: read more)
